Faculty and Staff Group X

Workout classes are designed for colleagues to move and get stronger together.

The purchase of a Rec membership is required to participate in all workouts at the Rec Center. A Group X $35 unlimited workout pass is required, *unless otherwise designated. With your membership and workout pass, you have access to all Group X classes in addition to faculty- and staff-only classes.

Workout Descriptions

CORE, STABILITY & BALANCE will challenge muscular endurance, flexibility and balance while training our mindful muscles and reducing stress.

F45 (FUNCTIONAL 45) is a team-based workout focused on motivation, innovation and results. With the combination of technology and in-person coaching, groups of participants will complete a functional movement station together and rotate through a different circuit every single class.

OPEN RECREATION & TRAINING Faculty and Staff only access to the Rec Fitness Block, open to drop in and move at your own leisure or follow the coach’s grab and go workout. This time provides a comprehensive facility (Fitness Block) paired with instruction to help you reach YOUR goals. Rec access is required, but not a Group X workout pass.

RELAXATION YOGA provides relief from tightness and stress, leaving your body and mind feeling revived and calm. This class takes place in our satellite facility, Rec access and a Group X workout pass are not required.

Annual Events

Run with the Duck: Held each year during homecoming, this year's roll, walk, run 5K and kids 1K will be Friday, October 25, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. starting at the Autzen Footbridge. Sign-up!

Take a Hike: Our faculty and staff walk and run will take place again in spring term 2020.
