Bio: Bev grew up living in Springfield and has been a life-long Oregon Duck fan. She studied and swam on scholarship at Oregon State University (after UO cut their swimming program) and graduated in 1992 with a bachelor of science in physical activity and development.

She is passionate about teaching swimming to people at all levels, especially beginners. Swimming is a lifelong therapeutic activity with innumerable health benefits.

In her free time Bev loves camping, fishing, and floating the river with family and friends. She also enjoys watching UO softball, women’s basketball, and football.

A fun fact about Bev is she used to be a wildland firefighter.
