Upcoming Annual Maintenance Shutdown: August 27–September 11
The Department of Physical Education and Recreation strives to provide the best possible experience for the campus community and our members with our facilities, equipment, and services. One of the ways we achieve this is through preventative maintenance. While ongoing maintenance is conducted throughout the year, there are certain projects that cannot be completed during standard hours of operation. Thus, the Student Recreation Center will be closed August 27–September 11 for our annual maintenance facility shutdown.
The projects completed during this time period are crucial for the longevity of the facilities/equipment and include, but are limited to, hardwood floor screen/seal for basketball courts and fitness studios, carpet and turf cleaning, tile and grout repair in all locker rooms, swimming pool mechanical repairs, and lighting upgrades. We apologize for the inconvenience, but look forward to welcoming you back on September 12.
