Cooking Camp – ALL SESSIONS ARE FULL

About Cooking Camps

Based out of the University of Oregon’s housing facility, Kalapuya-Illihi, campers will have the opportunity to learn culinary techniques, kitchen safety protocols, and experience a wide variety of foods. The camp will include demonstration and instruction from counselors as well as hands-on learning to help campers feel comfortable and safe in the kitchen. In the afternoons, campers will participate in camp games and have the opportunity to swim.


Who can attend?

Open to all children will be entering third through fifth grade in the fall.


When is the camp and how long does it last?

Cooking Camp takes place during the summer months. Each session lasts five days, unless otherwise specified.

Drop-off for all campers in all camps will be from 7:45–9:00 a.m.; pick-up will be from 4:00–5:30 p.m.

What if my preferred session is full?

Families can add their campers directly to the waitlists. Please proceed to the online registration link below, log in with your account, and all full sessions will have a "Waitlist" button.

Registration for summer 2024 Cooking Camp will open on Monday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m.

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
