Weight Training Classes (PEW)

PEW 211 Weight Training I

Beginning technique course for all basic lifts and a variety of workout formats designed to develop strength and muscular endurance.

PEW 212 Weight Training II

Advanced weight training exercises and impeccable technique in the basic lifts is reinforced. Students can expect some independent work.

PEW 211 and 212 Women’s Weight Training I and II

A combination of beginning and intermediate level weight training. All self-identified women welcome.

PEW 220 Olympic Weight Lifting

Beginning technique course focusing on the Olympic lifts: the snatch, and clean and jerk. Follow a progression of drills and exercises designed to develop movement patterns, muscular endurance, strength and power. Spend time practicing quality repetitions and receiving feedback.
