Unified Sports is a partnership between the University of Oregon Intramural Program and Special Olympics Oregon. UO students, faculty, and staff compete on intramural teams with Special Olympic Athletes from the Eugene and Springfield communities. More than one million people compete in Unified Sports worldwide and the Unified Sports program was established on our campus in 2018. Teams compete each term in flag football, basketball, and outdoor soccer.

In addition to the on-campus leagues, the UO has also hosted and competed at regional and national championships. In 2024, the UO captured its first NIRSA Basketball National Championship in Madison, Wisconsin.

UO students, faculty, and staff can sign up for Unified Sports by visiting IMLeagues and navigating to the Unified Sports League. Special Olympic Athletes can sign up to play by contacting their Special Olympics area directors or Assistant Director for Intramural Sports Sean Graninger at seangran@uoregon.edu.

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
