Bio: Kristin grew up rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, and backpacking with her family around the western United States. However, it was not until she joined the Outdoor Pursuits Program as a student that she discovered and fell in love with rock climbing. Kristin is an alumni of the UO where she received a degree in environmental studies.

She has had the pleasure of working with several university climbing walls and has a background in adaptive climbing and inclusive recreation. She moved to the south to complete her master’s degree in higher education policy studies at the University of Central Florida, where she lead rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, surfing, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding, and many other types of trips.

Kristin loves introducing people to outdoor recreation and hopes to instill the value of the wild and natural places in which it takes place.
