Reserve Your Lap Swim Time
- Visit recweb.uoregon.edu and login, or download and log in to the UO PE & REC App.
- Select “Aquatic Reservations.”
- Select the pool in which you want to reserve a lane. Note the Lap Pool is split into North and South options to accommodate programmed activities.
- Choose your preferred day and time from the options available.
- Hit the “Register” button, and select it one more time when your name pops up.
- Click “Continue Shopping” to add additional reservation times, or “Check Out” to complete your reservation.
- Add it to your calendar and share your workout schedule with friends.
- You can opt into class up to 30 minutes before class start times, and opt out of the class without penalty two hours prior to class time.
- Remember, an active membership or facility access pass is required to use the aquatics facilities.
- When you arrive for your reserved swim time, check in on the deck.
How to Cancel a Lap Swim Reservation
Option 1:
- Visit recweb.uoregon.edu and select "Log In" in the top right corner.
- Click on your profile picture or user name in the top right corner, then select “Profile.”
- Select "Programs" and then “Registrations” from the left-hand column.
- Scroll to view the class you wish to cancel and click the three dots on the right edge of the row to open the menu, then select "Cancel Registration."
- Confirm by selecting “Yes, Cancel Registration.”
Option 2:
- On the PE & Rec app, select “Manage Registrations” and log in to your account.
- Select “Programs.”
- Scroll to view the class you wish to cancel and click the three dots on the right edge of the row to open the menu, then select “Cancel Registration.”
- Confirm by selecting “Yes, Cancel Registration.”
General Policies and Procedures
- The lap swim time slot reservations will open exactly one week in advance and remain open until slots are full.
- Drop-ins will be welcome if pool capacity has not been reached. Inquire on the pool deck.
- You may release your reserved spot two or more hours prior to your scheduled time with no penalty.
- Releasing your spot less than two hours prior to class will document in our check-in platform as a no-show.
- Not showing up for a time slot you pre-registered for will document in our check-in platform as a no-show.
- After two no-shows, you will not be allowed to reserve a time slot in the pool for one week. Additional no-shows may warrant suspension from the pool.
- The purpose of utilizing online reservations is to maintain a safe space for you to swim and support your accountability.
- Swimmers may use the Downtown Locker Rooms as a changing space.
- Per Oregon guidelines, a distancing monitor will be stationed on the deck.
- Face coverings are required on the deck, but not in the water.
