Biography

Teaching Experience and Credentials:

  • BS Forest Management—1979, Oregon State University
  • I have taught Juggling I and II here since 1988.

Juggling is a creative delight. It is very rewarding to learn a physical skill. In fact, learning to embody knowledge is fun. We explore together and discover we can befriend gravity and laugh a lot in the process.

I like helping people. I have worked at Evergreen Nutrition here in Eugene for 25 years sharing nutritional supplement knowledge.

My wife Jane and I enjoy camping, gardening, and following our Duck Women's Basketball team. I also enjoy helping with the Pole Vault Crew at Oregon's Track and Field meets.

I am also an artist and have carvings in the Tokyo National Museum and the Japanese Royal Family collection. White Lotus Gallery in Eugene has some of my work.

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
